Stepping out of your comfort zone [Best Of]

This is a replay of one of our ‘Best Of’ episodes of our podcast The Trainers Tribe. We’re publishing these fan favourites as we lead up to releasing new episodes this year. This episode is especially relevant as Dale just stepped big-time out of his comfort zone (and kicked a lifelong goal) of speaking at a TEDx talk.

This episode is especially relevant as Dale just stepped big-time out of his comfort zone (and kicked a lifelong goal) of speaking at a TEDx talk. We're looking forward to sharing the recording with you once it become available.

What are you avoiding doing that you’re afraid to do?

We all have these and instead of doing them we dance around them with ‘busy’ work which holds us back from achieving and doing what we really want.

In this week’s episode Dale and I share stories about how doing something we feared ended paying off big for both of us.
Then we dive into how to make those big scary things you want to do more manageable and achievable so you can stack the odds in your favour. Sometimes the sheer size of a project can seem overwhelming.

Have a listen to this episode hear our advice.

Our challenge to you

Decide what that one scary thing you’ve been avoiding doing is.

Will it take less than 5 minutes? If not, how can you break it down into steps that take less than 5 minutes?

Write it down then join our Facebook group and share what it is.

This week commit to doing that one, scary task. The outcome doesn’t matter. What matters is that you do it!

Let us know once you’ve completed it.
